Job Posting - Standards Specialist

The Aluminum Association is seeking a Standards Specialist.

This full-time position will work with the Standards and Technology staff and the team of Standards volunteers. Duties will include conducting project work in the registration of alloys and tempers and the maintenance of the related registration records and other Association standards publications. Reports to the Director, Alloys and Product Standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science degree (in engineering science, information management/library science), quality certification, or commensurate experience
• Strong computer skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal/teamwork skills
• Capable of managing multiple projects
• Editing and technical writing experience
• Minimum 5 years work experience, preferably in aluminum or other manufacturing industry, including project management.
