 Aleris Announces Appointment of Sean M. Stack as Chief Financial OfficerBEACHWOOD, Ohio, February 27, 2009 - PRNewswire - Aleris International, Inc. announced today that Sean M. Stack, currently Executive Vice President, Corporate Development and Strategy, has been named Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Stack replaces Kevin L. Brown who recently joined Aleris in October 2008. Mr. Stack joined Commonwealth in June 2004 as Senior Vice President and Treasurer and continued in that role until December 2007 when he was promoted to Executive Vice President and President, Europe. In order to ensure a smooth transition, Mr. Brown will remain with the Company through April 30, 2009.
