Russia Jan-Sep Aluminum Export 10% Down on Year

Moscow, November 10, 2008 - Dow Jones Newswires - Russia exported in January-September 2.625 million metric tons of aluminum, 10% less than in January-September 2007, the federal customs service reported Friday.

The exported aluminium was worth $5.811 billion compared with $5.821 billion a year earlier.

Aluminum export to countries outside the Commonwealth of Independent States totaled 2.608 million tons worth $5.768 billion compared with 2.905 million tons worth $5.791 billion in January-September 2007.
