Association Seeking Vice President of Standards and Technology
The Aluminum Association is seeking a Vice President to manage its Standards and Technology department. The candidate will possess a degree (BS) in metallurgy, engineering, or materials science (advanced degree preferred) and a minimum of 15 years technical experience in the aluminum industry.
2) Preparation and supervision of the writing and editing of technical and application articles and publications.
3) Representing the industry and/or the U.S. on domestic and international standards committees and technical advisory panels.
4) Serving as chief industry resource with regard to responding to technical and general queries from customers, government agencies, the media, and the public concerning aluminum products, processes, and standards.
Travel, including internationally, of up to 15-20%.
