Industry Statistics

The Aluminum Association's statistical programs provide industry information on primary aluminum production, new orders of mill products, industry shipments, end use market estimates, inventories, recycling and foreign trade on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Special surveys provide data on specific subjects such as primary capacity, flat roll capacity, inventories and castings shipments. Custom reports are available on a for-fee basis.

Statistical programs include publications such as the Aluminum Statistical Review and the End Use Guide . For a complete list of statistical publications and reports click here.

To access statistical reports, click on the links to the left directly under the heading "Statistics Reports," or you can click on the links listed above.  For a summary of current industry activity, click on the link titled Aluminum Situation. For the current Primary Aluminum Production Report, click on link titled Primary Production.  If you want to subscribe to statistical reports, you can do so through our online Bookstore or by contacting the Association at statistics@aluminum.org.  Please include your name, company, address, phone and fax numbers in your email.  We also need to know which reports are of interest to you.
