Heidi Biggs Brock joined the Aluminum Association as President in October 2011 and became CEO in October 2013. Before joining the Association, she was Vice-President of Federal and International Affairs leading the Washington DC office of Weyerhaeuser, a Fortune 500 company. 

Shabnam Rai Executive Assistant to the President

Shabnam Rai works as the Executive Assistant to the President at the Aluminum Association.

Karen Bowden Vice President, Administration & Corporate Treasurer

Karen Bowden joined the Aluminum Association in March 2006 and was promoted to Vice President and Corporate Treasurer in May 2007. She is responsible for managing the financial and accounting functions of the Association as well as Human Resources and Facilities Management.

Joe Quinn joined the Association in July, 2013 as the Vice President of Public Affairs.  In this role, Quinn oversees policy communications, advocacy strategies and media relations.

Matt Meenan joined the Aluminum Association in December of 2012 as the Director of Communications. In this role, Meenan runs day-to-day media operations and all external facing communications for the Association. 

Stacie Manger Communications Specialist

Stacie Manger joined the Aluminum Association in February, 2013 as the Communications Specialist. In this role, Manger runs day-to-day advocacy and social media communications, as well as meetings management.

Charles Johnson Vice President, Policy

Charles Johnson is the Vice President of Policy at the Aluminum Association. In that capacity, he addresses a broad range of domestic and international concerns. Johnson is an environmental policy expert, with a Masters degree in International Environmental Policy from American University.

Jinlong Marshall Wang Senior Sustainability Specialist

Jinlong Marshall Wang is the Senior Environmental/Sustainability Specialist of the Aluminum Association. He also serves as a member of the Sustainable Aluminium Working Group and the Environment & Energy Committee of the International Aluminium Institute. 

Curt Wells Manager, Regulatory Affairs

Curt Wells joined the Association in March 2014 as Manager of Regulatory Affairs. In this position, he provides leadership on a range of environmental and other regulatory activities of interest to Association members.  

Ryan Olsen Vice President, Business Information & Statistics

Ryan Olsen joined the Aluminum Association in February of 2014 as the Vice President of Business Information and Statistics.  In this role, Olsen directs the Association's North American aluminum industry statistical program, which provides vital market insight and publishes a number of reports covering every segment of the market.

Hank Sattlethight Senior Staff, Statistical Programs

Hank Sattlethight works as Senior Staff, Statistical Programs for the Aluminum Association. Hank joined the Association in September 1995 and has managed the Association’s statistical program since that time. 

John Weritz Vice President, Standards & Technology

John Weritz joined the Association in July, 2012, coming from Wise Alloys, where he had served as Metallurgy Manager since 2007. In that role, he was responsible for developing and improving manufacturing methods for Wise's products.

Parvaneh Shafiee Director, Alloys & Product Standards

Parvaneh Shafiee joined the Aluminum Association in June 1989 and is currently serving as the Director, Alloys and Product Standards.  In her current role, Parvaneh manages the operation of the Association’s standards activities and maintenance of standards publications.
