The Aluminum Association's Annual Meeting will feature three days of networking with peers and business meetings at a great location with dynamic speakers on aerospace, politics, global trade policy and market analysis.

Join us October 19-21 at the Omni Nashville in Nashville, TN. The hotel sits in the heart of Music City.  We hope to see you there.


To register for the Association's Annual Meeting,

  • 1-2 members: full price
  • After the 3rd member, $150 discount per registrant
  • After the 6th member, $300 discount per registrant

Hotel Reservations

The Aluminum Association’s room block at the Omni Nashville is maxed out and the hotel is sold out during our annual  meeting dates from October 19-21. We apologize for the inconvenience. 

But the good news is, there are still rooms available at nearby hotels just a few blocks away with rates similar to the Omni Nashville.

  • Congressman Marsha Blackburn: A member of the Congressional Aluminum Caucus who represents Tennessee’s 7th district, Congressman Blackburn will give an insider’s perspective to the current political landscape on Capitol Hill.
  • Mike Palazzolo: Director of Global Environmental Affairs for Alcoa, Palazzolo will provide a perspective on how the aluminum industry has managed through past environmental challenges and how the industry can draw on its history to be prepared for future challenges.
  • Paul Williams: Head of Aluminum at CRU, Williams will talk about trends in the global aluminum market and the impact of Chinese aluminum production. 
  • Marcus D. Jadotte: Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Industry & Analysis for the International Trade Administration, Jadotte will give his perspective on global trade policy.
  • John Byrne: Responsible for the purchase of raw materials, standards and major structures for all commercial airplane programs, Boeing Vice President of Aircraft Materials and Structures John Byrne will discuss emerging trends in the aerospace market.
  • Tom Boney: Chairman of the Aluminum Transportation Group and Vice President and General Manager, Automotive Value Stream at Novelis will give an update on work being done by ATG in the automotive market.

Nissan Tour

Tour Nissan's Smyrna plant where vehicles such as the Nissan Altima, Maxima, Pathfinder and more are assembled. The plant produces roughly 640,000 vehicles annually and is built on 884 acres. A boxed lunch and transportation to and from the plant will be included. A maximum of 40 people are allowed to attend, so please sign up quickly. The cost for the tour is $200.

Golf Tournament

The bus for the golf tournament will be out in front of the Omni on Monday, October 19 for a 7:30 AM departure to the Hermitage Golf Course. Please rally in the lobby at 7:15 AM.


Guest Event

Enjoy a tour of the historic Belle Meade Plantation on Tuesday, October 20! Your visit to Belle Meade Plantation will include a tour led by a trained and costumed guide through the plantation’s beautiful Greek-Revival mansion commissioned by John Harding in 1845. Your ticket also includes access to Belle Meade’s many other historic buildings on the plantation grounds including a dairy, horse stable, carriage house, mausoleum, gardens, and a log cabin. After you’ve completed your tour of the house and grounds, a free wine tasting at our winery awaits. Additionally, Association guests will enjoy lunch at the Plantation. The event runs from 10:30 am to 2:00 pm.

Cancellation Policy

Under the Aluminum Association’s cancellation policy, if your registration is cancelled by September 25, you are entitled to a full refund of your registration fee and additional fees (fees for the golf tournament, golf club rentals, Nissan Tour, and fees for spouse participation). If your registration is cancelled by October 9, you are entitled to a 50% refund of your registration fee and additional fees. We are unable to refund registration and additional fees after October 9.
