Francesca Licari

Senior Public Affairs Specialist for Publications and Events

Francesca Licari joined the Aluminum Association in September 2014.  In her current role Francesca manages events for the Association, including the Spring and Fall Meeting, and is in charge of managing the Association bookstore and promoting the publications it releases.   

She first started as an intern for the Public Affairs team in 2014 before being hired full time to the Standards Department later that year.  As part of the standards department Francesca helped maintain the Association standards process, ANSI requirements and the publications that are produced by the Association.

She rejoined the Public Affairs team in June of 2017.

Before joining the Association, she worked as a Government Relations Intern at Pfizer and a Research Assistant for the Computer Science Department at the University of Virginia.  Licari received a B.A. from the University of Virginia in Russian and Eastern European Studies.  She has lived in Virginia for ten years and has also lived in  Pennsylvania, Texas, and Poland.
