Aluminum Cans Leading the Way to Limit Carbon Impact

A third-party analysis of more than a dozen life cycle assessment studies found that aluminum beverage cans produce fewer carbon emissions than glass bottles and a similar level of carbon emissions as plastic (PET) containers. Aluminum also offers a host of other environmental benefits from superior recyclability to greater circular performance.

Aluminum Week: Unified Aluminum Industries Call for Creation of Trade Committee

 In a letter to trade ministers, the aluminum associations from the United States, Canada and Mexico called for increased monitoring and enforcement of trade laws throughout North America to stop the flow of unfairly traded aluminum from ChinaRussia and elsewhere. We also called for the creation of a new North American Aluminum Trade Committee to facilitate discussion and coordination between the aluminum industry and our respective governments.
