ARLINGTON, VA -- The Aluminum Association released the following statement on a new White House plan to reduce energy use at federal buildings by 2.5 percent per year between 2015 and 2025. A number of private companies that are major suppliers to the federal government – including IBM, GE and Honeywell – also announced voluntary emissions targets.

The Directory is the industry’s leading resource for the most up-to-date details on 205 extrusion plants known to be operating in North America as of December 2014. This is the latest update of a directory last published in 2012.

Covering U.S., Canadian, and Mexican Facilities in Operation at the End of 2011

Today, the Aluminum Association released the North America Aluminum Industry Plant Directory covering the 464 known North American facilities (excluding foundries) known to be in operation as of December 31st, 2011. This directory is the most recent update to a decade-old directory, last published in 2001.

AEC and AAI have collaborated on reporting annual end use figures since 1999, resulting in a more accurate account of extrusion shipments, end uses, and value of the industry.
