Committee Highlights

Foil

A well-known household product, highly versatile aluminum foil is used in lightweight packaging, insulation, cable wrap and more. For more than a century, aluminum foil has improved our everyday lives.

The Foil committee works to identify problems and opportunities for aluminum foil producers. The committee serves as an agent for action to improve the aluminum foil business where joint effort is more effective than individual company action. The committee’s primary work includes policy advocacy, regulatory engagement and market promotion.

Current membership includes: Assan Aluminyum, Granges Americas, JW Aluminum, Novelis and Reynolds Consumer Products.

Commercial vehicles around the world are  a critical component of the movement of materials to support supply chains and the movement of people to support their mobility needs.

The Heavy Truck workgroup  supports the use of aluminum in all its applications such as sheet, extrusions, forgings and castings as the lightweighting material of choice for medium and heavy-duty commercial vehicles of all types – from last mile delivery vehicles, to over the road trucks, to recreational vehicles, to vocational vehicles for all uses, and to mass transit applications. The committee’s work includes policy advocacy, regulatory engagement, and market promotion, and industry and customer intelligence gathering.
