The Aluminum Association’s premiere automotive technology event returns Thursday, November 2 at The Garden Theater. Join the Aluminum Transportation Group (ATG) at an in-person knowledge-sharing event in Detroit. Speakers will explore innovative approaches to designing with aluminum, highlight material advancements supporting sustainability objectives, and provide an exclusive platform for industry collaboration. Celebrate excellence in sustainable design and engineering of vehicles using aluminum, while networking with industry leaders.

Parking

Complimentary on-site garage parking will be available to all attendees. Please park in the attached garage located off of W. Alexandrine Street. Once you take the elevator down to street level, exist onto Woodward to the right. The use of metered street parking on surrounding streets should be at attendees’ discretion. The ATG is not responsible for parking fees and/or violations if attendees use metered parking.

What is the registration rate to attend?
This event is in-person and complimentary by the Aluminum Association’s Transportation Group.

Where is the event?
The event will take place in-person at Detroit’s Garden Theatre. More information can be found on the website here: http://www.thegardendetroit.com/

How long will the event last?
Registration and breakfast will begin promptly at 8:00 a.m. on November 2. The event programming will begin at 8:30 a.m. and continue until 4:40 p.m. The event will include lunch at 12:00 noon and a happy hour reception beginning at 4:45 p.m.

What is the dress code?
The suggested dress code is business casual. The entire program will be hosted inside the Garden Theatre.

What is the nearest airport to the venue?
The closest airport to The Garden Theatre is the Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW), located approximately 20 miles away. This is approximately a 30-minute drive, and if using ride-share we recommend accounting for a 15-minute buffer for ride-share availability. 

What is the nearest hotel to the venue?
There are several hotels in the surrounding area to the Garden Theatre. The Shinola Hotel, Aloft Detroit at The David Whitney, The Westin Book Cadillac Detroit and The Hilton Garden Inn Detroit, Downtown are all less than one mile distance from The Garden Theater. Please note: hotel costs should be incurred by attendees, and the ATG does not have a room block at any of these hotels.
