The Aluminum Association joined dozens of groups endorsing the Promoting Efficient Review for Modern Infrastructure Today (PERMIT) Act -- a bill that aims to cut red tape; reduce costly project delays and litigation; and make permitting more efficient, consistent and transparent. In a statement of support, Aluminum Association President & CEO Chuck Johnson noted that, "American aluminum can’t grow without a permitting system that is timely, predictable and transparent.”
