Record Recycling Jobs, Economic Output for U.S. Aluminum as Investment Continues

A new study shows found that the U.S. aluminum industry directly employs more than 164,000 workers and drives $92 billion in direct economic output. The 2024 Economic Impact of the U.S. Aluminum Industry study also found that when indirect and induced impacts are considered, the industry supports nearly 700,000 American jobs and $228 billion in total economic impact – nearly 1% of U.S. GDP.
